The Joint VPD 2.0 Elbow is a all-round elbow pad that offers a high level of protection. They are comfortable to wear and stay in the right position even in rough riding conditions. VPD adapts to the shape of your body, but when exposed to impact, the material stiffens and has extreme impact absorption properties. Includes the crash retention strap (CRS) that prevents the protector from sliding out of place.
The VPD 2.0 Knee protector is a multi-purpose knee protector combining freedom of movement with an exceptional level of impact absorbency. The protector is constructed from a reinforced stretch fabric and features an elastic strap to further secure the pads in place.
The protective padding is perforated to improve ventilation and heat control. Its impact absorbency rating meets the toughest EN1621-1 Level 2 standards, giving exceptional protection from impact forces in a fall.
The Joint VPD 2.0 knee pad is ideal for downhill riders who require the highest level of protection. The VPD material warms and adapts to the shape of the body, providing freedom of movement, but when exposed to impact, the material hardens, providing exceptional impact absorption. The Joint VPD System Elbow is a highly flexible 2ply elbow protector which conforms with international shock absorption standards. The elbow protector features a highly efficient ventilation system and an outer fabric which is made with high tenacity polyamide yarns for low friction and high abrasion resistance. VPD is the perfect material for mountain biking as it wraps around a riders body shape when warm which gives great freedom of movement on a bike. To protect riders during a fall the VPD technology then hardens on impact to help minimise injury.
